The experienced engineering staff of Core Furnace Systems designs and supplies electric arc furnaces with some of the most advanced technological features.

The engineering and supply of CORE EAF's include:
- Bottom stirring systems
- Systems for uninterrupted foamy slag formation and slag composition adjustment

- Automatic manipulators for sampling and temperature measurement
- Process control systems that feature harmonic distortion, monitoring and control
CORE also provides reliable equipment for all of the charge mix alternatives including DRI, HBI, pig iron and hot metal.
Current Conducting Electrode Arms
CORE provides a modern and reliable concept for power conductive arms.
The utilization of the bimetallic sections (steel+copper) combines high strength of steel with the current carrying ability of copper. Also available are aluminum current conducting electrode arms that are typically lighter than conventional arms and are designed as rigid box sections with high current carrying ability.
The electrode clamps are built from forged copper that allows high contact pressure contact with low resistance.
