Burners are the “Core” component of any combustion based thermal application.
Core Furnace Systems uses Techint’s proprietary burners as well as conventional burners depending on the specific requirements of each project.
The R & D group of engineers is dedicated to the continuous development of new burners and to the improvement of performances of existing burners.
Burners are designed and supplied for several applications such as:
- Walking Beam Reheat Furnaces
- Pusher Reheat Furnaces
- Rotary Hearth Furnaces
- Roller Hearth Tunnel Furnaces
- Car Bottom Furnaces

- Heat Treating Furnaces

CORE burners are state of the art design for process fitness and meet or exceed any EPA or European regulations for NOx emissions.
The types of burners provided are:
- Low Low NOx burners for side firing and longitudinal firing for reheat furnaces including on/off type duty for any type of reheat furnaces.
- High velocity burners for special applications
- On/Off high velocity burners for high precision heat treating applications
- Low NOx roof burners
CORE burners feature proprietary construction techniques for any refractory part of the burner to assure longevity, maintenance free operation and performance accuracy. In particular, we offer:
- Extra strong refractory baffles for long life
- Pre-shaped, procured, sequenced burner cases for accuracy in performance for low NOx application.
